Miami is a multicultural and tropical city, a landmark for art-deco architecture. Pastel color facades look like ice-cream, but that don't melt despite the heat. Miami Beach is not only a beach resort. The long promenade along the Atlantic Ocean is for sure a paradise for runners, but it is worth venturing into the streets of Miami Beach, to discover different atmospheres, residential, touristic, modern. You will also explore some of the canals that wind through the island, and you can even meet some beautiful and friendly iguanas (yes, do not be afraid). You will regularly find water points to refresh you, but it will probably be one of the hottest runs you will ever make, so it can be good to have a bottle of water with you ...
*Alternative route: you can select the central tour, without north and south of the tour (7.6km between 4th and 17th st), the north tour (without the southernmost part 9.8km, or the south tour (without the northerrn most part 9.7lkm). The choice between tour will be given to you during your run.
NB : if you are unsure, check your position on the map and the track.
