Download this running route, and you'll be amazed by Nuremberg and its rich medieval past, which is so rarely imagined given the city's recent history. This running itinerary will take you to the foot of the castle, along the ramparts, through the gates, across the famous market square, and admire the half-timbered architecture. You can also enjoy the peace and quiet of the banks of the little Pegnitz River.

And on the longest route, we take you right up to the gates of the courthouse where the infamous trials were held after the Second World War.
